Throne of Attila

Legend has it that this was a throne of Attila during the barbarian invasions. More likely it is a seat probably reserved for the magistrate who administered justice on the island of Torcello.                           
It is however one of the attractions of the island a few steps from the Church of St. Fosca and the Abbey of St. Maria Assunta, absolutely not to be missed, like the whole context. Classic photo sitting on the throne.
